November Goals

After logging my workouts for the month of October, I was better able to get an idea for what my goals will be for November. They are as follows:

  • Exercise 25 days for a minimum of 35 minutes
  • Make 2 good healthy meals a week
  • Stay away from the comfort/holiday food, deserts, and snacks
  • Blog a little more
  • Make a healthy dish for Thanksgiving
  • Go to bed earlier!

Staying away from the holiday food is going to be a tough one. I won’t deprive myself of any tastes, but I will remind myself before I pick up the treats how much progress I have made over the past few months. I will also ask myself “Will this really make me feel better? What good can come of this?”

This past weekend when a lot of people commented on my weight and how well I looked it really made my feel good. It gave me motivation to keep doing what I have been doing and I will eventually get to where I want to be. So far so good. 🙂

I have done so well these past few months that I promise myself I will not blow it. I will treat myself here and there only in moderation. This season will be a true testament to my lifestyle goals for leading a healthy and happy life.

The holidays are just that. DAYS. I will not treat them as holiday months. In stead of eating the holiday foods all month(s) long I will just light my Autumn Spice candle to treat my senses. 🙂

This guy is pretty much me. . . LOL
